Photo recap of my weekend
Saturday night we had a much needed date night with some friends that included traveling downtown in a limo and eating at this kick ass fondue restaurant. At first Hubs and I were leery about a fondue place. We thought it’d be all cheeses and breads and that gets old after a while. Well, we were wrong. The 1st course was cheese and bread. But then we got a plate of meat. Like 6 different kinds. And we got to cook it ourselves in a fondue pot boiling with delicious seasonings. It was pure food heaven. We want to go back there super soon. We also know we have awesome friends who plan this kinda stuff out.

Also, I’m having fun using little stickers on Hubs face. It may be tacky or cheesey but I’m having fun so yeah.
Then yesterday we had Hannah’s birthday party. Her birthday isn’t until December 18 but if you’ve read my blog for a while you know that we always do her party early because having a birthday party a week before Christmas sucks on so many levels. She’s going to be 7 on the 18th. I’m going to live in denial about that until then. Thanks.

You’ll be happy to know that from this side of the blogosphere, there’s no way you have a 7 year old. Can’t be true! =)

Sounds like you guys had a great weekend
That cake is beautiful.
We have a fondue place near us. We’ve only been once ’cause it is expensive, but OH SO GOOD. I love that plate of meat you get to cook yourself.

Just wait until you have a NINE year old…it becomes even more unbelievable. I must say I’m thankful neither I or my daughter have December birthdays. It does kinda suck to be close to christmas.

Sounds like a great weekend. I didn’t know you had a snowman for a husband.
When my son turned 11 in August, I just about died. Now my baby girl is going to be 7 too. I say we stop time, just for a little bit. *sigh*
That cake is gorgeous! Where did you get it? The fondue place around here is called The Melting Pot. I’ve been once before and it was SO good.
