I’m a 30 year old wife to The Man and stay at home mother to our 9 year old daughter, Hannah, and our 3 year old daughter, Livie. We live in Texas near the coast. I love taking pictures and practice photography as a hobby. I’m a self proclaimed wino, Coach whore and iPhone 4 addict.  My mom has MS and has been in a wheelchair since 1999.  My dad passed away on my birthday on July 24, 2007. I’ve blogged about our strained relationship and all the trouble I had getting over his death.  I have 2 younger sisters who both still live in Ohio near my mom.

I started this blog back in 2006 when Hannah had just turned 3 years old. Back then, it was just a way to put my random thoughts down online and I’m sure only 5 people actually read it which I’m glad for because the content back then is quite embarassing. Thankfully as the years went on, my writing improved and now I’m actually proud of my little space here on the internet. I thrive on recording the simple parts of my daily life with my family with an occasional flip out post to keep things interesting.

We all know life isn’t always rainbows and unicorns, even though I’d be happy if it was. Instead I try to focus on the good most of the time. And when I’m having a day and I just can’t do that? I blog about it too. The good and the bad. Welcome to my blog.
