I’m a 31 year old wife to The Man and mama to our 10 year old daughter, Hannah, and our 4 year old daughter, Livie. We live in Texas near the coast. I love taking pictures and practice photography as a hobby. I’m a self proclaimed wino, Coach bag whore and iPhone addict.  My mom has MS and has been in a wheelchair since 1999.  My dad passed away on my birthday on July 24, 2007. I’ve blogged about our strained relationship and all the trouble I had getting over his death.  I have 2 younger sisters who both still live in Ohio near my mom.

I started this blog back in 2006 when Hannah had just turned 3 years old. Back then, it was just a way to put my random thoughts down online. In January 2013 I decided to kind of start over with this blog. I made most of my old posts private, kept the favorites public, and did an almost-do-over with this blog. I thrive on recording the simple parts of my daily life with my family and I decided that that’s what this blog should be- simple. Not over done. Not over thought out.

We all know life isn’t always rainbows and unicorns, even though I’d be happy if it was. Instead I try to focus on the good most of the time. And when I’m having a day and I just can’t do that? I blog about it too. The good and the bad. Welcome to my blog.
