Miss Stage Presence
Nettie’s always been a performer. If you’ve been reading my blog for any length of time, you already know this. She does lots of dance at her dance studio. Competes in dance along with all the other girls at her dance studio. She’s never been shy on that stage she’s been gracing since she was 3 years old. So when Hubs mom decided that Nettie and her cousin should be in the children’s choir at church I was excited because I knew she’d do well. I was even more excited when I found out that she had 3 solo’s in their summer performance. I couldn’t wait to go Sunday night and watch her sing on that stage. Yes, she’s been dancing for years but singing was new for us and I was thrilled. What I wasn’t ready for was HOW she presented herself on that stage. Hubs brother was in the audience and for some reason Nettie wasn’t thrilled about him watching her. The whole time she was on stage she was making faces at him and rolling her eyes. Just watch this video I took. And watch the whole thing because the last 5 seconds…..well just watch.

my singing is less than perfect.
actually its horrendous and i’m not kidding when people tell me to stop singing. yes its that bad. and i know it and i dont care. i sing anyway.

i hope you all had a fantastic christmas. i know we did…AND i got a new coach bag. if youve been reading my blog for a good amount of time you know that owning coach bags is right up there with photography for me. and i was able to get a new one today. after a year and a 1/2 drought of NO new bags. super SUPER excited.

Recital time
Nettie did so good at her recital. the video i have is of the rehearsal where she did NOT do so good lol. i had a nice talking to with her friday nite and saturday morning about how people were coming to see her and she can’t just stand there and swing her tail the whole time. you’ll see what i mean when you watch the video. and so yeah, saturday she actually DID do the whole dance and it was super cute and i was so proud of her. i hate that they grow up so fast but man its a fun ride!

Old dress, New fun
yes i had to wear my old dress. but i still had a great time at the wedding. and Hubs even danced with me. which is like HUGE cuz the man dont dance.

also, i took this little video of Nettie riding her dora 4 wheeler around our back yard. she was scared to death of this thing since we got it for her for christmas. she’s finally riding it.
