I give you a lot of credit for choosing to stay at home with your girls. I honestly don't think I could do it. I mean, surely I am capable of doing it. But, I'm not sure I could be good at it. So, hats off to you - it's no small feat. Also, you have to look at every challenge as multifaceted. You said it here yourself. Your girls are fighting so much, because they are independent, driven and smart. Amazing characteristics to have in your children. I do think though that it's hard. It's just plain hard. Each stage has its awesomeness and it's not so awesomeness. Your girls may always fight some. That is being a sibling. You fight and then you make up and then you fight again. It's safe to fight with them, because they're always going to be your family. At least that's how I look at it. Well that and I tell mine if they can't play nicely they can always clean something. ;) Also, I've been thinking lately about how differently I parent now than when M was a toddler.
